Dr. Chauhan obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from DBS College, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, where he studied from 2005 to 2008.

Dr. Santosh Chauhan served as a Junior and Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Science and Technology – Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB) in India from August 2017 to February 2020. His research interests encompass the synthesis and characterization of perovskite-type (ABO3) oxides and related materials. He focuses on their applications in various advanced technologies, including inorganic membranes, solid oxide fuel cells, solar cells, gas sensors, and supercapacitors.
